In this video, you will learn how to stitch the Hem of a Jhabla.

Don’t forget to watch the previous video to learn how to bind the armholes.

Start by folding the facing sides of the front and the back piece against each other.

Now, make a fold along the notch marking the hemline and finger press to set a crease.

Then, hold the raw edge along the corner and make a double fold with the hem allowance, as shown.

Secure the fold by attaching a series of evenly-spaced pins and extend it all the way to the other end of the hemline.

Once all the pins are in place, set one end of the hem under the needle and start sewing along its length.

When you reach the end of a hemline, cut the thread and repeat the process to stitch a hem on the other side.

You have now learnt to stitch the hem of a Jhabla.

To learn how to stitch the side seam, watch the next video.
