In this video, you will learn the revolved triangle pose, also known as Parivrrta Trikonasana.

Stand straight and separate your legs by 3-4 feet.

Spread your arms to either side at shoulder level with your palms facing down.

Turn out your right foot by 90 degrees and turn in your left foot by 60 degrees.

Exhale and rotate your trunk to the right.

Place your left palm on the floor on the outside of the right foot.

The right arm should be stretched out straight with the fingers pointing upward.

Both arms should be aligned.

Turn your face towards your right hand.

The knees should be locked and both feet firmly planted on the ground.

Breathe normally and maintain the pose for half a minute Inhale and lift the left hand off the floor and get back to the starting position.

Exhale and repeat the same on the other side.

To make it easier, place a brick below the grounded palm.

This pose tones the thighs, hamstrings, hips and calves.

It also helps relieve backpain and invigorates the abdominal organs.
