In this video, you will learn the Shoulder Pose, also known as Kandharasana.

Lie down flat on your back and relax in corpse pose.

Fold your knees to bring your heels close to your buttocks.

Plant the soles of your feet evenly on the ground and clasp both ankles.

Inhale as you raise your buttocks and arch your back so that only your feet, arms, shoulders, neck and head are grounded.

Hold your breath as you stay in this pose for 10-15 seconds or as long as your can.

Exhale as you slowly bring your buttocks down to the ground and relax.

Counter the position with a forward bend.

This pose strengthens the female reproductive system.

It also corrects the alignment of the spinal column and strengthens the shoulders.

You have now learnt Kandharasana, the Shoulder Pose.
