Jocelyne Julien and Jean-Bernard Sibour

Jocelyne Julien and Jean-Bernard Sibour from Marche Ta Forme club (Paris). Jean-Bernard teaches Nordic Walking since 2006. He is a trainer member of the French Hiking Federation (FFRP) and an instructor certified by the French state (BPJEPS).
Jocelyne, president of the Marche Ta Forme club and Nordic Walking facilitator, practices Nordic Walking since 2008. As a former nurse, she uses Nordic Walking as a way to heal from osteoporosis. She looks after practitioners during outings, bringing a special focus on using Nordic Walking as a healthy practice.

Learn everything you need to know to try Nordic Walking for the first time, from technique, to training, to trail! Over the course of this series of simple tutorials, you will discover advice for choosing the best equipment for your needs, planning and organising your walks, and improving your technique to make the most of your outings.
These videos have been specially designed to be accessible to all, helping beginners as they take their first steps in the Nordic Walking world. They are also ideal for confirmed Nordic Walking enthusiasts to revise and perfect their technique in order to take even more pleasure in their walks and for garnering enthusiasm among friends and family members!
The tips and advice offered in this educational program have been made available thanks to the support of experts at the French Hiking Federation and the French Athletics Federation who have willingly shared their know-how with us for these tutorials. The program kicks of with a set of interviews with Nordic Walking enthusiasts talking about their passion for the sport. There are then six different sections to discover: Discovering Nordic Walking; Choosing Your Equipment; Preparing for a Walk; Warming up; Learning the Technique; a Series of Fun Exercises; and finally Stretching and Warming Down.
Nordic Walking is great for your health, but is also a great social outlet that can easily be adapted to different numbers of people, in both rural and urban areas, come rain or shine! So grab your poles, and let's get started!
