In this video, we are going to learn how to build a coat rack from recycled wood
We will need
Planks taken from a wooden pallet Wall plugs and screws adapted to your supporting wall 30mm wood screws 4 coat hooks a tape measure a trysquare and pencil a saw a hand sander medium and fine grit sandpaper a drill driver with dillbit adapted to your supporting wall
Begin by dismantling the pallet. For more on this, see our video "how to dismantle a pallet"
Cut and gather 4 wooden planks measuring 45cm, 2 x planks of around 20cm and 1 x planks measuring roughly 40cm
Adapt the measurements and dimensions according to the wood and wallspace you have available
Sand all the wooden planks
Assemble together the 4 x 45cm planks perpendicular to the 1 x 40cm plank like this
Then screw in the 2 x 20cm planks at either end
Then screw in the coat hooks
Finish by fixing your coat rack to the wall!
