In this video you will learn how to do a chasse step.

A chasse step allows you to move and cover a short distance efficiently on the court.

Start in the ready position with the racket in front of you.

Push off the ground with both feet and bring them a little closer in the air as you move toward the shuttle.

Remember to extend the non racket arm behind to help you balance.

If you have to cover a long distance quickly, do a chasse step, run forward and lunge toward the shuttle.

The chasse step also allows you to move back and take off with both legs if you need to jump to hit the shuttle.

Practice your chasse steps to move to the forecourt, the rear court and to the side.

Enjoy your game! .
