Prepare your equipment.

Check the state of your shoes.

And inform a close friend or family member of your outing.

Firstly, take note of the weather and the difficulty of the route.

Before leaving, check the weather conditions and adapt your outfit accordingly.

For your security, avoid going out in stormy weather. On hot days, tend towards sessions early in the morning, or in the evening in the cool air.

Determine in advance the duration of your route and the number of kilometers that you plan on travelling.

Secondly, prepare your equipment.

The typical equipment for an outing is relatively minimal. Take as much water as necessary, your ID, a snack, and perhaps a fully charged mobile phone.

Adapt your food and water reserves according to the duration and the intensity of your session.

Thirdly, check the state of your shoes.

Before you hit the road, consider checking the state of the soles of your shoes.

Your soles should not be cracked or coming loose.

Fourthly, inform a close family member of your outing.
