This video program on swimming shows the techniques needed into order to learn how to swim the backstroke well. Each video breaks down a key element of the backstroke technique, or demonstrates an exercise you can use to improve your backstroke swimming technique. Follow the videos through in the order they are presented, chapter-by-chapter, to master this swimming stroke in a quick and enjoyable way! The exercises demonstrated in these videos are targeted at relatively new swimmers, but they are equally useful to more experienced swimmers looking to hone their technique, as well as swimming coaches looking for drills and tips they can use with students in the pool. The backstroke program was developed with the expert collaboration of professional swimming coach Pierrick le Floch, who specialises in teach the backstroke swimming style. It was created with Decathlon, Sikana’s partner for the Sports topic. The program is structured into 4 chapters to facilitate the learning process: Warming up before swimming; the basic techniques; how to improve one’s technique; and finally stretching to warm down after swimming. A certified stress-buster, swimming, in particular, the backstroke, will help you relax, and boost your fitness levels without putting too much strain on your joints. Enjoy your swim!
