Take a square sheet of paper and fold it in half diagonally.

Open your paper and fold it diagonally in the other direction.

Open the paper; it should look like this.

Turn the paper over and fold it in half. Do the same thing for the other side.

These creases will allow you to fold everything inward, like this.

First fold in one side, then the other. It should look like this.

Then fold the point towards the centre line.

Do the same thing for the other side.

Then fold down the top using this line as a reference point and making sure to fold towards the centre.

Unfold the top.

Open the paper here and fold the sides inwards using the creases you just made.

Then unfold this part.

Lift up this part and fold it upwards.

Do the same thing for the other side.

Now fold this part along the centre line.

Do the same thing for the other side.

When it looks like this, take the lower part and fold it upwards as far as you can, so that this little point shows.

Open it. Use this new crease to fold the point over like so.

Then unfold the point and fold it down again along the new crease.

Make a crease from the other side of the point towards this centre point.

The next fold is complicated.

Fold this part.

Use your creases to lift up the point, and then fold.

Now flip the fish over.

Pull on the fish head like this.

Flip it over again and fold the big point backwards.

Make a nice crease.

This point needs to touch the tip of the nose.

So fold up the point and make sure to align the centre lines.

This is the same crease that we did before on the other side.

Then fold upwards, aligning the edge of the point with the crease you just made.

Open it up and fold to the new crease.

Now fold the other side of the point to the intersection of the centre line and the last crease.

Once it looks like this, finish the tail just like on the other side, but folding downwards instead of upwards.

So, fold this point in two, then fold downwards.

Make one final fold backwards to finish your angelfish.
