EDUCATION College: Management, Universidade Federal de Lavras – Incomplete. Technical course: Computer technician, Centro Paula Souza (July/2004) – completed. Complementary course: Literary and Legal Translation, Distance Learning Course by Nancy Staeblein (November/2011) – completed. CAREER In August 18, 2015, I joined the translation team of the company Marcboraz Traduções. Since August 7, 2015, I have been translating for the company Solução Supernova Consultoria. Since January, 2015, I have been translating mostly legal documents for the company Pangea Idiomas. I translated three books for Altabooks: French Grammar for Dummies, Auto Repair for Dummies and Strategic Management (7th Ed.), currently in production. I translated a thesis: La Cuestión Agraria en Brasil. I am a member of a subtitling team called Amara. I worked as a teacher at Achieve Languages, in Lavras – MG for almost a year, teaching English and French. Now, I give private lessons. From September, 2007, to July, 2012, I worked at Associação Torre de Vigia de Bíblias e Tratados (Watchtower Bible and Tract Society [Brazil]), a nonprofit organization. Since it is always hosting a lot of foreigner visitors, I had the opportunity of working as a guide to them, explaining, in the Portuguese, English and Spanish languages, what kind of work this organization does. I was also the host of some other visitors in the French language. Also, I contributed in the translation of a magazine, of speech drafts of medical essence, and of a handbook detailing the organization’s cleaning and housekeeping.
