Here, we shall use the bias tape to bind the raw edges of the tablet sleeve.

Watch the previous video to learn how to prepare quilting lines.

Bias tape refers to a strip cut at a 45 degree angle to the grain of the fabric, in order to achieve greater flexibility.

Spread out the remaining purple Fabric flat on top of the table and place the ruler at a 45 degree angle to its grain.

Draw a line from one corner of the sheet to the other, as shown.

Now, mark a series of three distant points one and a half inches away from the first line, as shown.

Once this is done, draw a line running through the points so you that have two lines, an inch apart, that run parallel to each other.

Use a pair of scissors to cut along the two lines, leaving you with a 1-inch-wide strip of bias tape.

You have now learnt how to cut bias tape for a tablet sleeve.

Don’t forget to watch the remaining videos to finish your tablet sleeve.
