How to Stitch a Tablet Sleeve: 1/3 Quilting

In this video series you will learn how to stitch a Tablet Sleeve.

We shall begin by sewing quilt lines across the front and back panels.

We shall then finish the edges by applying bias tape binding.

Finally, we shall attach a velcro piece to the flap so it can be secured.

To learn how to make a pattern and cut out the material, start from the beginning.

To stitch a tablet sleeve you will need: A sewing machine Some Thread A measuring tape A Pair of scissors And a piece of Velcro

We shall start by stitching along the quilt lines drawn across the front panel.

Each of the lines drawn on the piece will stitched over from end to end.

Start by stitching on one of the lines running along the center of the panel so the three layers do not lose their alignment.

Once you have run a stitch along the first line, shift to the start of the next line and stitch to the end.

Make sure that you maintain straight lines with all the stitches.

Continue stitching along all of the quilt lines.

Repeat the same process on the back panel as well.

Repeat the same process on the back panel.

Cut any extra fabric or wadding to make the edges perfect.

You may fold the back piece in half and trim the edges to maintain symmetry.

Do the same for the front panel.

Do the same for the front panel.

Now, place both panels together and verify their dimensions.

You have now learnt how to sew quilt lines across the front and back panels of a tablet sleeve.
