Recycling: How to build a shelf from a wooden pallet

In this video you will learn how to build a shelf from a wooden pallet.

You will need:

A pallet, work gloves, a measuring tape, a try square, a pencil, a saw, a sander, medium-grain sandpaper, a screwdriver, and screws.

Step 1: Begin by cutting the pallet in two lengthwise, at the level of the stringer board.

Now cut it width-wise, two planks from the edge.

Step 2: Measure the width of the remaining part.

Step 3: Cut a slat of this size.

Step 4: Sand the wood with medium-grain sandpaper.

Step 5: Then screw the plank onto the bottom.

Your shelf is now complete!
