Pallet Ideas:Build a Dog Basket

In this video, we will learn how to make a dog basket from recycled wooden pallet.

We will need:

The wood from one Pallet, a tape-measure, a steel square, a pencil, a saw, a sander with medium and fine grit sand-paper, 35mm nails, and a hammer.

Begin by dismantling the pallet. To learn how to do so, watch our video "How to Dismantle a Pallet."

The first step is to make the planks of wood we will need.

Gather: 6 x30-centimeter planks, 8-9x 50-centimeter planks, and 4x 7-centimeter pieces. Then 4 x30-centimeter planks cut lengthwise. And 4 others of around 13 centimeters.

Of course, adapt these dimensions to the size of your dog.

Sand all of the wooden planks.

Now we will make the two sides of the dog basket.

Place 3x 30-centimeter planks on the ground.

Attach a frame using your pre-cut brackets.

Repeat for the other side.

Connect the two sides at the back with 3x 50 centimeter planks

Then, join the front with a single plank.

Next, Put the base together

And attach the feet at each corner.

Your dog basket is now finished!
