To make your own candles, you will need:
In a saucepan, pour in a bowl of paraffin candle wax and less than half of a bowl of stearin.
For this step, you need to use a low heat setting on the stove.
Thoroughly mix these ingredients to ensure that they melt correctly.
If you want to use dye, add it into the mix in small doses.
Put a drop of wax on a plate to test the color.
You can do this until you find your ideal color.
The cotton wicks will be dipped in the transparent wax for better adhesion.
Otherwise, you can use bits of warming candles.
When the preparation is done, you can pour the melted wax into a mold or container.
Be careful not to put your wicks into the molds too quickly since the wax may still be too hot.
Wait until the wax hardens a bit to add the wicks.
Let the wax cool.
Remove the mold and enjoy your candles.
