To make panna cotta, you'll need:
50cl or 2 cups whole cream
40g or 3 Tbsp sugar
2 gelatin sheets
1 vanilla bean or 2 packets of vanilla sugar or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
50cl or 2 cups whole cream
40g or 3 Tbsp sugar
1 vanilla bean
To make Panna Cotta, heat the cream with the vanilla and sugar until boiling.
(or 2 packets of vanilla sugar or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract)
If you're using a vanilla bean, you can leave the mixture to cool to allow the vanilla flavor to completely infuse into the cream, then re-heat the cream to dissolve the gelatin.
2 gelatin sheets
Remove from heat and immediately melt the softened gelatin sheets into the hot cream.
2 hours in the refrigerator
Pour into ramekins.
Let cool for 30 minutes at room temperature, then chill the glasses in the fridge for at least two hours before serving.
