Sikana is looking for a passionate individual who is interested in gaining a hands-on experience in a fast-paced and multicultural work environment. You will work hand in hand with the Spanish Language Project Manager to make Sikana grow in the Spanish-speaking world.
Under the supervision of the Spanish Language Project Manager, you will manage and animate a community of translators and volunteers and will be responsible for the first steps of production (translation and VO recording) of our tutorials in Spanish. Your responsibilities will include:
Translation project management: assure the quality of our scripts in Spanish and respect the deadlines; validate the translations proposed by our volunteers and assist in the VO recording process; translate when needed.
Volunteer Community Animation and Recruitment: identify and recruit new volunteers, online and offline, find new ways of keeping our community alive, create and send newsletters.
Community Development and Social Media Management: assist in the creation and implementation of Social Media content, explore new ways of diffusion for our material in the Spanish-speaking world.
Qualifying Skills & Experience
Spanish is your mother tongue: you have very good writing skills and are good with words. You have a very good command of French and are fluent in English. A translation background/experience will be appreciated.
You are able to inspire and motivate a team to deliver results (proven track record of managing a team on a project), creative and feel comfortable when taking the initiative.
You share our passion to make a high-quality education accessible to every individual and believe that our vision can change the world.
Understanding of social media management. SEO is a plus.
Computer skills: Powerpoint, Excel, Google docs and spreadsheets.
