We start by drawing a circle for the head.
Then we draw two circles for the body, keeping a certain distance between each part.
Link the different parts.
The lines for the neck go like this.
Draw the snout and the ears.
Dog legs bend in the opposite direction as human legs.
Don't forget to define the shoulder joints to illustrate the dog’s movement.
Now draw the tail. It varies depending on the breed of the dog. For instance, wolves tend to have a downward-facing tail.
As with all animals, you should draw an oval on the upper part of the face to correctly position the eyes. Here, the eyes are on the side.
Use a felt-tip pen to finalize your drawing.
Since it's an animal and has fur, the outline doesn't need to be perfectly smooth.
Keep part of the shoulder to show the joint.
Now, to finish your drawing, erase the lines of the sketch.
